It’s my pleasure to announce that Dr. U. Yeliz Eseryel has accepted the role of Deputy Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Leadership and Management effective November 2021. Dr. Eseryel has been on our Editorial Board of the journal since 2015.

Dr. U. Yeliz Eseryel is an Assistant Professor of MIS at East Carolina University. She received her PhD in Information Science and Technology from Syracuse University (2010). Her research includes IT-Enabled Leadership, open innovation enablement through information systems, and Open Source Software Practices. Her research has been published at European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Journal of the AIS, IEEE, Information & Management and JASIST among others.

Dr. Eseryel’s industry background includes business and strategy consulting and IT project management. She teaches internationally at the corporate, executive, master’s and undergraduate levels since 2004. She consults internationally on the topics of open innovation, and global teams.
