Satisfied with Poverty: An Argument for Ending Welfare

Abstract


The uncovering of the many, possibly unintended and negative consequences of governmental welfare programs is the thesis of the present paper. We argue that this program has had deleteri-ous effects upon the very people it supposedly aimed at benefiting.
